Join moderator Dr. Vivian Feintech and a panel of esteemed spiritual leaders
in exploring the art and practice of Presence.
Learn about spiritual practices that can assist in dealing with the demands
of living in today’s stressful society. Canon Peter Ball, Rev. Margaret
Guenther, and Rev. Tilden Edwards will share their stories and wisdom with us as
they address the need for contemplative practices and ways to deepen presence in
daily living and spiritual companioning relationships. Everyone interested in
spiritual care is welcome!

28-30, 2008. Conference keynote speaker Rose Mary Dougherty, SSND, and
conference spiritual director, Rabbi Jacob Staub will be joined by an
international faculty offering 40 unique and presence filled workshops and

Canon Peter Ball from Ramsbury, England, is a spiritual
director, retreat leader, author of Introducing Spiritual Direction and Anglican
Spiritual Direction. Following work at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London, he now
ministers in local Anglican parishes.
Margaret Adah Beltz Guenther is the associate rector at
St. Columba’s Espiscopal Church, Washington, DC. She is also Professor emerita
of ascetical theology at the General Theological Seminary, retired director of
the Center for Christian Spirituality, and an author, retreat leader and
lecturer.
The Rev. Tilden Edwards, PhD, is founder and senior fellow
of the Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation, Maryland, USA. Author of seven
books on the spiritual life, including two on spiritual direction, he is an
international presenter on contemplative spiritual life and leadership.
