In San Diego, a multitude of border issues encourage exploration. How might spiritual direction influence—and be influenced by—the borders central to cultural, socioeconomic, and racial issues? How might seekers explore the "thin" space between their current reality and the "not yet"? As we gather in drought-ridden Southern California, what spiritual issues can be explored in the borders between desert, sea, and sky? Where might spiritual companionship exist and enrich the border between science and spirituality?
