An intriguing question is generating conversation and active engagement in the world. What do you think?
Can spiritual guidance offer a valuable contribution to the field of law and justice, and everyone who engages in the work of justice?
Spiritual Directors International believes that yes, indeed, spiritual guidance offers valuable contributions to justice.
You are invited to engage this pertinent question. Please be present at our first "Spiritual Guidance and Justice Institute" on Monday, November 1, 2010, from 9:00-12:00 in Berkeley, California, USA.
The Spiritual Guidance and Justice Institute follows
“The Mindful Lawyer: Practices & Prospects for Law School, Bench, and Bar” an international conference to be held October 29-31, 2010 at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. Spiritual Directors International is cultivating compassion in legal education by offering this post conference "Spiritual Guidance and Justice Institute."
Worth pondering
- Are you curious how listening, stillness, and a contemplative practice contribute to discernment, justice, and wise action?
- How can cultivating compassion, integrity, and mindfulness increase inner aliveness and meaningful work in the field of law?
Can I attend?
If you are interested in spiritual guidance, the legal profession, and
cultivating compassion in justice your participation is valuable.
Together we will uncover the contribution spiritual guidance can offer to everyone who works and serves in the field of law: educators, students and law professionals. Everyone who is interested in the legal profession and cultivating compassion in justice is welcome at the SDI Spiritual Guidance and Justice Institute post conference. Ideally participants will attend "The Mindful Lawyer" conference.
Join us Monday, November 1, 2010, for this pertinent and intriguing conversation.
