Share your Poetry

Are you a poet?  Would you like your poetry to appear in a Spiritual Directors International publication?

Please share your poetry for possible inclusion and publication in Presence journal, Listen, Connections, Membership Moments, or the SDI blog (which is also posted to social media sites.)

All styles of poetry are welcome. E-mail your poem to poetry editor Pegge Erkeneff, using this e-mail: Poems[@]sdiworld.org. *note: delete the brackets in the e-mail address when you send your e-mail.

Everyone is invited to submit a poem; please make note of this criteria:

• All poems must be submitted by e-mail, preferably by MS Word attachment
• Write “Presence Poetry Submission” in the subject line
• Poems may be no longer than 40 lines
• Poems should pertain to a spiritual or contemplative theme and should relate to spiritual direction. Spiritual encompasses more than we can define, and can include life's everyday realities, seen through the heart of Mystery
• Poems may not have been previously published in any format
• Poems may not be submitted to another journal until after they have been published in Presence. Rights revert back to the poet after publication
• Presence poems are selected from new submissions every quarter
  

Please include all of the following information with the poetry submission: 

• Name of Poet
• A brief bio of Poet
• Name of Poem
• Mailing address (including country)
• E-mail address
• Title the document the name of your poem
• Include in the subject line of the e-mail: "Presence Poetry Submission"
