
October 21: arrival in Lima, Peru; transported to a hotel for the night
October 22: catch flights to Arequipa to meet Patricia Roberts; lunch and rest (elevation 8,000 ft); evening wine and cheese reception at Patricia’s home
October 23: tour Arequipa; lunch in a typical restaurant; countryside tour with a guide
October 24: early departure to Colca in a private mini bus with English speaking guide; buffet lunch in Chivay; arrive at Lodge around 3pm. (rest or hot tub under the stars); dinner
October 25: Retreat Day with Tai Ji and contemplation of the magnificent scenery (hot tubs, hiking, and dinner)
October 26: Early departure to see the condors and do Tai Ji with them; visit several Andean villages and colonial churches; lunch in a typical restaurant; arrive at Lodge around 4pm to take a siesta; dinner at local restaurant with folk dancers
October 27: Early departure for Puno; Tai Ji on the way; box lunch on bus; visit the Sillustany Inca ruins and do Tai Ji with Patricia’s ancestors; arrive in Puno in time for dinner
October 28: early departure by boat to visit the Uros of Lake Titicaca in their floating islands and also the Taquile tribe who live on the lake; lunch with the Taquile and view their crafts; return to Puno around 5 pm.
October 29: early departure on the Inca Express (up to this point, we have been traveling in our private mini bus with our own English speaking guide, now we join others); Inca Express stops in 4 important places to see ruins and churches; buffet lunch and arrive in Cusco around 6pm. (Cusco is wonderful and we have a night on the town.)
October 30: early departure for Pisac to see the ruins and continue down skirting the Urubamba River by the Sacred Valley of the Incas; Tai Ji on the river, visit a wonderful potter, have buffet lunch in a mansion, and arrive in Ollantaytambo, an Inca fortress, around 4pm; tour Ollantaytambo; return to hotel for free evening
October 31: travel back to the ruins to do Tai Ji with these ancient energies and walk to the train station or take a "motorcar" (a motorcycle with a cabin for two); arrive at Aguas Calientes at the bottom of Machu Picchu and are met by our guide who takes us up by bus to the ruins; spend the day there (box lunch); return mid afternoon to the hot pools in Aguas Calientes; spend the night
November 1: train back to Machu Picchu (as a private group) for a retreat day of Tai Ji and contemplation; return to Aguas Calientes for a late lunch; board train back to Cusco.
November 2: tour Cusco and surrounding ruins
November 3: free day (contemplate and complete experience, Tai Ji, shopping, etc.)
November 4: catch flights from Cusco to Lima for international departures
