Author, speaker, spiritual director, friend of the IHM community and a nominee for the 2010 IHM Mentors of Sustainable Living Award, Judy Cannato died Saturday, May 7, 2011. She was at home, surrounded by her family. Much of her retreat work and writing centered on the New Universe Story or New Cosmology based on the premise that all of life, on the most fundamental of levels, is connected, and therefore all are included and held in the heart of God. She is author of Quantum Grace: Lenten Reflections on Creation and Connectedness, Radical Amazement and Field of Compassion.
