Rev. Seifu Anil Singh-Molares, MTS
Rev. Seifu is the Executive Director of SDI and an ordained Zen Buddhist priest, as well as a practicing spiritual director/companion and motivational speaker. He is a veteran of numerous interfaith and interspiritual efforts over the years, including Seeds of Compassion in Seattle in 2008, where he was one of the chairs, and as founder and executive director of the Compassionate Action Network. He has worked closely with noted religious author Karen Armstrong in a variety of capacities and has a Master’s in Theological Studies from Harvard University.
Rev. Seifu is an accomplished speaker and university lecturer and is a key contributor for the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation. In a previous life, he was also an executive at Microsoft, where he successfully grew international groups and divisions and provided leadership to multi-cultural teams around the world.
Chief Operating Officer
Rory is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience in management and consulting and brings a wealth of international expertise with key leadership roles in Sales & Marketing, Operations, Engineering and Executive Management. Rory has established himself as a thought leader in the fields of strategic planning and business development. He is also a best-selling author with several of his published books within the top 20 Amazon.com best seller lists. Rory is also an inventor with three issued US Patents. Rory is a frequent guest speaker and lecturer, and his perspectives have been featured in various newspaper, radio and television news reports on ABC, NBC, CBS, NWCN, KKNW, The Bellevue Business Journal, The Seattle Times, and others.
Events and Journeys Manager
With experience in project management and education, Maud is the key logistics coordinator for all our events, including our exciting “Seeking Connection 2019 - Across Generations” conference in Bellevue, Washington, USA. A native of La Belle France, she also guides the SDI Spiritual Journeys program.
Director of Content
An author with experience directing strategy and messaging for nonprofits, philanthropy and business, he now guides SDI's storytelling and education -- on our website, our blog, social media, and in our webinars. He sees spiritual companions as the catalyst in an ongoing "contemplative revolution." He says his unofficial job title is "Director of Encouragement."
Events & Administration Manager
An experienced event planner and business administrator, Christine comes to SDI from the Center for Courage & Renewal where she served as the Program Coordinator for Circle of Trust retreats. She holds a BA in Biology/Natural Science from Messiah College. Her international work experience includes serving in the Peace Corps as an adjunct for the Zambian Ministry of Health and serving as General Manager of Himalayan Healers in Kathmandu, Nepal. Christine is a long-time yoga enthusiast, bodyworker and Shiatsu practitioner. In her downtime, she can be found writing, walking in nature, performing choral music, or curled up with a good book.
Presence Journal Editor
Nick has been editor of Presence since 2001. He manages the entire team -- editorial panel, authors, poetry editor, art editor, copy editor, proofreader, and graphic artist.
Community Outreach Coordinator
Lizzie is a spiritual community builder and community organizer in her home of St. Louis, MO. She leads classes and workshops in body-based sacred practice in St. Louis and facilitates community-building retreats at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Lenox, MA. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies from Truman State University and is trained in yoga, qi gong, sacred dance, and a variety of other contemplative and mystical practices. She completed her Spiritual Direction training through the Alcyon Center for Spiritual Living in Seal Cove, ME. Lizzie is passionate about the intersection of spiritual practice and social change and is working with SDI to co-create a relevant, impactful, and inclusive 2019 conference.
Visual Media and Technology Coordinator
Matt is a multidisciplinary artist and educator who grew up in the Pacific Northwest and lives in Seattle. He works between drawing, painting, photography, collage, video, performance, and group facilitation, with a focus on the metaphorical and spiritual power generated through life’s everyday rhythms – walking, riding the bus, gardening, making things, or simply being still. He has a BA in Art from Whitworth University and an MFA in Visual Art from Vermont College of Fine Arts, and has taught art at the college level for several years. SDI Canada Coordinator
Miriam began her career in business and finance. She has expanded her spiritual and cultural awareness through mystical experiences at a young age, a three-year service assignment in east Africa as well as discovering her love of learning. With experience in Jungian dream work and training in the Enneagram, Miriam serves as a spiritual director. Her university degrees include a B.A. in Psychology, M.A. in Religion and Culture and D.Min in spiritual ministry. Miriam also works as coordinator of the Ontario Jubilee program in spiritual direction (www.ontariojubilee.ca).
SDI Australia Coordinator
Rev. Dr. Peter Bentley, Dip Eng, Grad Dip Ed, BTh, MA, PhD
After ministering as an ordained minister in a couple of parishes, Peter was appointed Director of the WellSpring Spirituality Centre in 2003. His initial formation in spiritual direction was through the WellSpring Centre where he graduated in 1996. Peter has completed a Master of Arts Degree looking at the use of the Arts in association with spiritual direction in a Creative Retreat context and a PhD thesis examining spiritual direction formation and a particular approach to formational learning. Peter currently lectures in postgraduate spiritual direction formation programs through the University of Divinity, Melbourne. He also presents workshops and retreats in Contemplative Practices and the Enneagram. Peter has served as President of the Australian Ecumenical Council of Spiritual Direction and been a member of the Council of Christians and Jews.

Presence Media Review Editor
An author and spiritual guide, Pegge lives in the wilds of Alaska. She was the founding editor of Listen, and created that publication for ten years, along with donning many other SDI hats starting in 2004. She’s currently a storyteller for a school district spanning 25,600 square miles, and in her spare time takes thousands of photos on her iPhone, befriends wild critters, offers Reiki and healing touch, and loves to laugh. Her favorite place is on a beach, in a great convo, with a friend, stranger, or her pen and journal.
Jennifer (Jinks) Hoffmann
Jinks was born and raised in South Africa, but has lived with her beloved husband, her soul historian, in Canada since 1966. She is a retired psychotherapist, and is a spiritual director, poet and writer. She has numerous publications, primarily of poetry. Jinks was on the Coordinating Council of SDI from 2008 to 2014. Jinks’ favorite ways of paying attention to Mystery, and listening for guidance for the big and little things, are through dreams, reading, and poetry writing. She also studies the divine as she walks though her days, since clues for awakening are hidden everywhere, in plain sight. Jinks has nineteen grandchildren and nine great-grands, and counting.
