Marika Zelča-Čerāne, MBA, MA is a Roman Catholic lay woman, spiritual director and retreat guide living in Riga, Latvia. The founder and director of the Institute of the Christian Life in Latvia (Kristīgās dzīves institūts), she leads retreats at a retreat house, in everyday day life, and online. Retreat themes include Ignatian retreats, dream work, spirituality and daily work, Scripture, and Christian mysticism. Zelča-Čerāne studied spiritual direction at the graduate School of Religion and Religious Education at Fordham University in New York, USA, writes articles for the local religious media, and serves on the Spiritual Directors International Presence journal editorial review panel. She is the contact person for the Roman Catholic Church in Latvia in the Theobalt network (Theobalt: Theology around the Baltic Sea).
